DW Accounting & Advisory was formed with an aim to provide high level management accounting and corporate advisory services to a diverse array of clients over a broad range of industries both in Australia and overseas. The firm was created from Draffin Walker Pty Ltd, a firm that was incorporated in 1993.
A fundamental philosophy of DW Accounting & Advisory is to establish long term relationships with our clients and other professional advisers to ensure the best outcomes for all.
DW Accounting & Advisory has a large international client base built on relationships formed via start up operations and/or the acquisition of Australian entities by international parent companies. The firm traditionally becomes involved with these entities via existing contacts and professionals engaged to advise on the setup/acquisition of Australian based Company’s. Subject to appropriate due diligence, DW Accounting & Advisory are able to provide statutory support including resident directorships, resident company secretary and public officer.
A representative from DW Accounting & Advisory will often be appointed to the Board of these foreign owned Australian entities, overseeing the financial and accounting functions of these entities, to ensure they continue to comply with laws and regulations as they stand in Australia. Currently the firm reports to foreign owned parent companies domiciled in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, USA, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and South America. DW Accounting & Advisory also employs personnel in Hong Kong to assist with the reporting between Australian and Hong Kong based entities.
